Human welfare, Toiora tangata

Human welfare is the study of social intervention to improve people's social and economic wellbeing and understand how social policy is developed and managed.

It gives you an understanding of people's social needs and the resources available to them, social influences on people's behaviour, and how to plan and deliver welfare programmes to meet people's needs.
