You need a job and experience in your industry to do this training.

Training or study

To train at Level 4 you may need a Level 1–3 certificate. 

To train at Levels 5 and 6 you usually need a Level 4 certificate or apprenticeship.

You’ll be upskilling on the job, so your employer needs to support your training.

Training providers manage industry training. You do courses and assessments with them throughout your training.
