- Research topics in area of expertise.
You need more than one qualification to become a registered clinical physiologist.
You need
- a Bachelor of Science, Biomedical Science, Health Science, Medical Technology, Sports and Exercise Science or similar
- a Postgraduate Diploma in Science, Health Science, Medical Science, Biomedical Science, Medical Technology or Sports and Exercise Science
- experience in similar work
- to join a professional organisation
- to pass a police check
You may need
- a Certificate in Physiological Measurement
- to get the Certification of Cardiac Physiologists
- to pass the Pulmonary Function Technology exam
- to complete the Australian and New Zealand Society of Respiratory Science (ANZSRS) competency standards assessment
- ANZSRS Certification in Respiratory Function Testing
- to pass the New Zealand Sleep Certification Exam
