You need a qualification to become an acupuncturist.
You need
- a Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture) OR a relevant tertiary qualification in health science (Chinese medicine)
- an Annual Practising Certificate
You may need
- a New Zealand Certificate in Chinese Medicine Health Maintenance (Level 4)
- a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Science (Chinese Medicine)
- a Master of Chinese Medicine or Master of Health Science (Chinese Medicine)
