- Position structural components.
- Install gauges or controls.
You usually need to do an apprenticeship to become a boilermaker.

- an Elevated Work Platform training certificate
- a driver licence
- to pass a drug test
If you’re in school
You usually need NCEA Level 2 to do the study or training for this job.
