Anaesthetic technicians

Tasks
- Assist patients with daily activities.
- Collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals.
- Sterilise medical equipment or instruments.
- Monitor patients to detect health problems.
- Monitor patient conditions during treatments, procedures, or activities.
- Operate diagnostic or therapeutic medical instruments or equipment.
- Administer intravenous medications.
You need a qualification to become an anaesthetic technician.
You need
- a Bachelor of Health Science (Perioperative Practice)
- to pass a police check
- a CPR certificate
