You need
- a New Zealand Certificate in Industrial Measurement and Control (Theory) (Level 4) OR
- to do an apprenticeship and get a New Zealand Certificate in Industrial Measurement and Control (Practice) (Level 4)
You may need
- a New Zealand Certificate in Electrical Trade (Level 4) or similar
- a New Zealand Certificate in Industrial Measurement and Control (Level 5) or a New Zealand Certificate in Process Control and Automation (Level 5)
- a Trainee Limited Certificate or practising licence from the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB)
- to be registered with the EWRB
- a driver licence

You need NCEA Level 2 to do the study or training for this job.
