These courses develop your ability to understand constitutional law, criminal law practices, family and tax law, regulations and systems, and the relationship of other countries laws to New Zealand’s.
Study level
Advanced certificates and diplomas are Levels 5–7. You can study Levels 1–3 for NCEA at secondary school. A higher level means the study or training is more advanced.

105 to 127You need this many credits to earn an advanced certificate or diploma. One credit equals about 10 hours of mahi like learning, studying and doing assessments. A year’s full-time tertiary study is usually worth 120 credits.
