Horticulture and viticulture is the study of how to cultivate, propagate and produce crops that are intensively managed like fruit, vegetables, flowers, foliage, nursery crops, trees, shrubs, plants and sports greens and turf. It gives you an understanding of plant physiology and growth, propagation, diseases, pests and weed control, and horticultural and viticultural technology and methods.

Forestry is the study of how to establish, cultivate, harvest and manage forests. It gives you an understanding of the science and technology of sustainable forest management and how these relate to resource use from political, economic and societal angles.

Environmental studies is the study of the relationship between living organisms and the environment. It gives you an understanding of environmental science and regulations, how physical, economic, social and technological factors affect the environment, and how to find ways to make society environmentally sustainable.
