Have a career idea but not sure how to get there? Tahatū Career Navigator now features Path Finder, a new career pathway exploration tool that helps people map career ideas to education, training and employment pathways. Path Finder makes career planning more informed, practical and achievable.
Path Finder shows different ways into a chosen career, which may include school subjects, study, training, apprenticeships, work-based learning and employment experience. By showing pathways others have taken, it helps people turn their career idea into a practical plan and builds confidence about taking the next steps towards their future.
Designed for students, parents and whānau, career advisers and educators as well as jobseekers and career changers, Path Finder helps guide and structure career conversations. It enables users to compare different pathways to a chosen career idea, identify relevant learning opportunities and create pathway plans that can be saved, revisited and shared.
