Anthropologists
- usually work regular business hours but may work extra hours

- assess how culture can impact digital technologies
- preserve and restore historical sites
- design and develop research projects
- publish research in academic journals
- prepare reports and recommendations
You need a qualification to become an anthropologist and experience may be useful.
You need
- a relevant tertiary qualification in anthropology, archaeology, social sciences or similar area
You may need
- a postgraduate qualification in anthropology, archaeology, social sciences or similar area
- experience in similar work
- to be registered with the Association of Social Anthropologists of Aotearoa New Zealand
