You may need
- to do an apprenticeship and get a New Zealand Certificate in Heavy Automotive Engineering (Level 4)
- a relevant tertiary qualification in agriculture, applied science, organic primary production or similar area
- experience in agriculture, farming or horticulture
- a Class 2, 4 or 5 driver licence
If you’re in school
You usually need NCEA Level 3 to do the study or training for this job.
