You need more than one qualification and experience to become a human factors specialist.
You need
- a relevant tertiary qualification
- a postgraduate qualification related to ergonomics and human factors, health, psychology, physiotherapy or similar area
- experience in an area related to human factors or ergonomics
You may need
- membership of Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of New Zealand
